The program is a partner with the Winthrop Public Schools through a 21st Century Community Learning Center grant and provides care for over 70 children a day. The program has designated classroom space, use of the cafeteria and the gymnasium, and a very strong school partnership with shared resources and training opportunities. The program is also a recipient of a behavioral grant in which the staff receive on-site consulting and technical assistance from behavioral analysis specialists from the Northshore ARC. The staff also participates in a peer-to-peer support group with other grantees across Massachusetts. *The Gorman School program services children in Kindergarten through Grade 2. During the summer months, the Gorman School program serves children in Kindergarten through Grade 5. |
