Each day, children in the afterschool program receive help with their homework and have the opportunity to join specific enrichment clubs such as cooking, photography, science, math...or even a club about chocolate! The 21st Century grant allows the children of Everett to have access to a virtually unlimited list of supplies and content specialist who specialize in teaching these specific clubs. Since the start of the 2009/2010 school year, FKO at the Whittier School has has doubled in size. |
